M4AC 2011 raises $7,174 for JDRF

The final numbers are in and this year's instalment of the
Moes 4 A Cure charity fundraiser has raised over $7,000 for
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The final cheque arrived today in the form of a $2,000 donation
from Wal-Mart Canada through their Local Matching Grant Program.
The request for the donation was put through the Agincourt Wal-
Mart store.

This year's effort brings the M4AC total to $36,909 in funds raised
for charity in the five years that the fundraiser has been held.

The Moes would like to thank everyone who participated in this year's fundraiser whether it be through the Online Auction, the Pledge-A-Player program, or the Charity Poker Gala. We would especially like to thank the following companies, individuals and organizations for their generosity: Wal-Mart Canada, The Gill Planning Group, Q107's John Derringer, Mill Run Golf Club, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, World Wrestling Entertainment, NHL Alumni, National Hockey League, NHL Players Association, The McHugh Group, Longo's Aurora, High Speed Hockey and CI Investments.
