Moes bounce back with a win

OK, so here we are after our first loss of the season and it doesn't
look good. First off, it's an 11:15pm game and secondly it's finally
starting to snow. So that is a double doozy for us. As we all know
late games means there's always bound to be a few no-shows.

Take for instance Moe Diggity...

Moe Diggity: "Hey Phil, couple of things for you for tonight. You have
no goalie as Moe puck isn't showing and Ka-Kaaww can't back up
as he's plowing away.  Also, I won't be there as I don't feel like it...
Oh btw, can you do the write up???"

Moe Zus: "What the F@#$... piece of S$%#... Mother @#$%er... always pulling this S#$@... I swear if you were here I'd cut your b@##$ off!!!"

I think it went something like that... or maybe I could have been just thinking that.

So anyways, onto the game at hand. We ended up having only 8 skaters on this night, even though there was an opportunity to bring out a couple of extra skaters through teammates. But hey who needs them, we're the Moes damn it.  We're 11-1 this season. Ya well maybe we

3back4
could have used them as the 3 no-shows turned in 6. So there would be no complaining about ice time on this night that's for sure.

And it seemed like Team Cutters had the same problem as us, as they only had 7 skaters. The games was a back and forth affair each scoring a goal after the other did after the Moes opened the scoring. The Moes took a 4-2 lead going into the third period. Team Cutters cut the lead to 1 five minutes into the third. But thats as close as they got. Even in the dying sconds of the game with the extra attacker, Moe goalie Jamie stood on his head making a pad save on a pass out from behind our net. Moes win 4-3.

So the Moes are back in the win column. Could this be the start of something new again???  You'll just have to wait and see.

Till next week, this is Moe Zus signing off.

Score:
Moes 4 - Cutters 3
